The Boss has come under real big pressure recently, everyone just wants a pop at Wenger… so im just here to reinstate the faith.

OK…. let me start of with PL finishes before AW

’93- 10th
’94- 4th
’95- 12th
’96- 4th

4th and 4th were both good finishes, but 10 and 12 ? And i’m sure you all know (even the younger ones) what our league finishes have been since september 96!

Last year we were very lucky with injuries up until around this point which is when we lost the title. if your gonna judge last year as partially a success, coming 4 points close, and this as a failure look who we had then thats out now..a injury is so much more then just a injury, one blow by Martin Taylor… who thought it could derail the season!

This IS not the weakest side Wengers had. The poorest form and worst luck, yes, but why is it that bar (Lehmann, Gilberto) Flamini Senderos and Hleb, this team was being dubbed the new invincibles by some up until Boro. The team is the same, you take them 5 out, only 2 of whom were important and you bring in Arshavin, Ramsey, Vela, Nasri,Silvestre really even Wilshire. Denilson has done his job since Dec time, and Arshavin and Nasri are both def better then Hleb IMO.

Its just the difference between a 0-0 and a 1-0 really, we have taken 5 points out of a possible 15, we could be 6 points of the champs if there was some better finishing, instead were 5 points of the UCL places.

Let me just summarize the performance- Bendtner and Eboue, from the bench, where our most threatening players, bar maybe Arshav.

Villa have again shown that they lack quality, and remote depth to compete with Europe’s elite, from where i see things, if they get in they’ll be the whipping boys and make England look that much weaker- as well as the rest of Europe ridiculing us that we couldn’t beat the brummies!

The most realistic compromise?

Arsene has to look at his policies, Gazidis should have a chat with him, and they should discuss where they want to take the club. Ivan looks like he has ambition, and i’m talking Invincible 49’ers ambition. We were injuries away last season. Miles away this year. Next year, who knows. Just dont let key men get away, and try to add a CM/DM.

The cups are still open. 5 or 6 thorough quality attackers are coming back from injury. And as adidas say. Impossible Is Nothing.
