Watford (h) – Alexis The Right Man, Elneny/Coq Combo & Complete Iwobi

How much better has Alexis been on the right? I mean, he looks a completely different player since switching. Before the game I thought it was more down to form rather than position, that was until Theo Walcott came on late in the game and Alexis moved back to the left. There were a few incidences where we saw him cut inside and lose the ball. On the right hand side we have been able to see Alexis get in behind the opposition far more consistently. Because of this he is far more productive in the final third. Since moving to the right he has scored at Tottenham, assisted for Elneny at Barcelona and now scored and assisted for Iwobi yesterday against Watford. If Alexis can continue at that rate then we should have little problems scoring goals again, especially with Welbeck's constant probing of the opposition defence and Iwobi's desire to score goals

Watford (h) Thoughts & Predicted Line Up: Keeping Hopes And Dreams Alive

I know the title is a super long shot and I should be preparing myself for the inevitable but f**k it! What is the point of this whole supporting thingy if you cannot retain some hopes and dreams? However unlikely they may appear. Imagine if the players had thrown in the towel and coasted for the next few games only to see Leicester City and Tottenham bottle it and drop points they would have expected to win? Yeah I know, you don't have to say it out loud.

Does Szczesny have future at Arsenal?

While Luciano Spalletti's side have reached third in the league with Szczesny in goal, the Poland international hasn't been as consistent as he would have wanted. He also did nothing to help his case by being caught smoking at the end of last year. His smoking habit was also something that played a part in his departure from Arsenal. With Brazilian goalkeeper

Can Arsenal bounce back and secure a dramatic Premier League title?

t’s not a bad side and on their day, they are capable of beating anyone. Wenger's men are now relying on other results but will still be quietly confident of sneaking back above Tottenham as they hunt a first Premier League title since 2004. Arsenal have a talented squad and their limits will be tested in the coming weeks, especially as Wales international Ramsey has been ruled out for up to four weeks

Why Henry Winter's 'Farce' Article Was The Actual Farce

The manager’s game-plan was executed very well and the few times we made errors (like Alexis giving the ball away in our half twice in a minute) Bayern did not capitalize. Did winning this game mean Bayern were too open in midfield or tactically maneuvered? I’m not too sure. Cech's world class performance on the day is what kept Bayern's very potent attack at bay. Now, compare this to the home game vs Barcelona where we set up in an identical way. We caught Barca on the break time and time again during the game but didn’t take our chances. The game plan was executed well enough by the players but the few times mistakes were made, we got punished. Again, does the fact that we created decent chances against Barcelona

Barcelona (a) Thoughts & Predicted Line Up: Dreaming about Arsène’s Ideal Scenario

I did say I was dreaming right? Basically nobody goes to Barcelona and dominates the game because that is what Barcelona are. Only a handful of teams have had more of the ball than Barcelona, let alone gone on to win the game in that way, especially at their gaff. Beating Barcelona wouldn't quite be a miracle but beating them at their own game in Barcelona would.
