So a little bit of pressure has been applied to the side for the first time and certainly not the last time of the season.
Like I have said before, I don't think that Adebayor and Van Persie are suited partners, I don't think they get the best out of eachother, they don't click. At the moment the form of the team means that this is not a problem. Both players are scoring separate goals right now
The last time Wenger spoke about Rosicky, he quoted this game as being the return date. However, with Tommy you can never be sure that a gentle breeze hasn’t reinjured him for a few more weeks, and sure enough, we probably won’t see him again until after the international break, assuming he doesn’t break while playing for the Czech Republic.
It looks like we are starting to get some faces back into the squad after injury in the next couple weeks which is good. I want us to go to Anfield with a fully fit squad
Arsenal click alot better with Hleb in the side. His role is to make that final pass.
I think we miss that electric pace and ability than can turn tight matches. Henry, Anelka and even Wrighty before them had
Alex Hleb started the match on the left wing with Emmanuel Eboue coming in on the right hand wing. Hleb is more effective on the left hand side of the pitch. He drives inside and can use his eye of the needle passing alot easier from that area.
Aleksandr Hleb will have a fitness test on his knee that Marc Noble decided to give him at West Ham. Unfortunately Hleb is not our only concern. Emmanuel Adebayor (thigh), Abou Diaby (ankle) and Mathieu Flamini (groin) all have to be assessed
Err *holds hand up in the air* can I say something? Since when is our club used as some sort of project to help other countries?
He has been playing in the Essien/Gattuso mould charging up and down the pitch winning tackles making blocks and fighting for the team.
