Spurs pass the ball maybe we can use them as our feeder club because lets face it, they are not a big club who will challenge for anything are they?
Arsene had some decisions to make before the game. Hleb was back in the team and Arsene could have played him on the left wing and drafted in Eboue on the right but Arsene decided to go with continuity and keep Diaby on the left wing after his blockbuster last weekend against Derby.
I’d expect pretty much all change from the team that played against Newcastle. Defense and attack pick themselves, Tough decision as always is the midfield.
Arsene and the current board obviously do not want this clown anywhere near the club its just a shame that they do not have any power to stop it.
There is alot of negative talk about Gilberto at the moment and that does not sit with me very well. He was arguably our most influential player last season
Lassana Diarra has wonderful technique and balance. His height and build makes him very difficult to knock off the ball. Many times against the Newcastle midfield Diarra would have the ball at his feet under pressure and dummy his man one way and twist away from the opposition.
Hats off to Alex Song who had a storming match at center half. He really did not put a foot wrong for the whole game.
Diarra making his first start in the holding role for the team was the star of the show in my eyes. He has a wonderful low center of gravity, very strong and has wonderful technique. He seems to have a wonderful knack of rolling opposition players with his strength and finding the correct pass.
Go on Hilly, you tell it as it is. Put them firmly back in their place. Peter Hill-Wood does make me laugh. He is like one of those old men who will tell their wife
Gallas and Rosicky definitely injured. There was a possibility of Hleb playing at the weekend, so maybe with a few more days recovery he’ll be in the squad for this one. Possibility of Eboue in the squad. I don’t see Lehmann making his triumphant return in this game.
